What is the difference between white, pink and brown noise?
White noise has equal energy at every frequency and sounds “bright”, like radio static. Pink noise lowers the higher frequencies for a softer, balanced sound, like steady rainfall. Brown noise rolls off the highs even more for a deep, rumbly sound, like a waterfall — many people find it the most relaxing.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The sound is generated and saved entirely inside your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing is ever sent to a server, so it works offline and stays completely private.
Why would I download a noise file?
